80+ Mile Stretch Of I-10 Closed Due To Michael Recovery

An 81-mile stretch of Interstate-10 is shut down as the Florida Highway Patrol and the Department of Transportation work to clear debris created by Hurricane Michael.

The busy east-west highway is closed in both directions from Mile Marker 85 to Mile Marker 166, stopping traffic between Quincy and Defuniak Springs.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
