iHeart Pairs With FHP, Aventura For Hurricane Michael Donation Drive

The City of Aventura, FHP and multiple local and state agencies have partnered with iHeartMedia's own Mobile Mike, iHeartMedia-iHeartRadio, WIOD, 940WINZ and Aventura Mall to coordinate a Hurricane Michael Relief  Effort.

We will be collecting specific items such as:

• New Generators

• New Boxed Chainsaws

• New Flashlights

• New Batteries

• Baby Diapers, Baby Food, Baby Wipes (Only unopened boxed items no single items)

• Large boxes of sealed canned foods (No single or bagged items)

• New Blankets, Cots, Sleeping Bags (no opened items)

• Large unopened bags of Pet Food or full boxes of Canned Pet Food (no open items)

There will be no clothing or used items accepted at this location. Every item must be boxed and labeled. To Donate by phone please call 1-800-HELP-NOW-1-800-435-7669.

All donations can be dropped off at Aventura Mall (19501 Biscayne Boulevard) in the parking lot across the Macy’s Men’s Home Store in the designated drop off area. Just look for the Good Greek moving and storage trucks!!

Donations will only be accepted October 14-16 between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. 

Then, the iHeartRadio-Mobile Mike monster trucks will travel with all Law-Enforcement vehicles to Northern Florida with volunteers from multiple agencies.

The group will be departing the Aventura Mall on Wednesday at 6:00 a.m. en route to help the victims of Hurricane Michael.
