Facial Recognition Tech in New School Cameras

Surveillance cameras with facial recognition technology are coming to Broward County schools.

The Sun-Sentinel is reporting that the district will spend more than 620-thousand-dollars on cameras that can compare faces to a database of expelled students, sex offenders, felons, and more so-called 'troublemakers.

'In all, 36 schools will get the security upgrade.
