Miami DJ Won't Face Arrest in Crash That Killed Former City Official

Authorities won’t be charging a Miami DJ who had alcohol and cocaine in his blood when he crashed near downtown Miami. The passenger, a former Miami Beach official, was killed on impact.

The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office said they could not prove Hugo Milochevitch, 27, was impaired March 2017 when the former procurement director with the city of Miami Beach, Gus Lopez, died.

Known as Hugo M, Milochevitch was a popular DJ at trendy hotspots including Seaspice, Mynt Lounge, and Bâoli Miami.
