Democratic Presidential Candidates Visit South Florida

Another day, another Democratic presidential candidate makes a campaign pit stop in South Florida. Amy Klobuchar is in Miami this morning for a health care roundtable, following several other candidates who have recently visited like Julian Castro and Eric Swalwell. Barry University's Dr. Sean Foreman says it's a gamble for lesser known candidates to come here so early in the process because they won't get much media coverage out of it. There are now 18 declared Democratic candidates. He says with Donald Trump winning Florida in 2016 and Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott winning in 2018 it will be hard for any Democrat to take hold of this most important swing state in 2020.
