Amazon is pulling Christmas decorations and bottle openers decorated with pictures of Auschwitz.
Customers complained to the online retailer and the company responded by pulling the items.
One of the ornaments even appeared to be in the shape of the Star of David.
A Twitter user wrote: "@amazon as a customer and the daughter of Holocaust survivors I demand you remove these items immediately. Most of my family was killed in Auschwitz and camps like it. This is not in the holiday spirit. It's sickening."
The Auschwitz Memorial noted in their tweet: "Christmas ornaments" with images from Auschwitz are also available on @WishShopping. We hope that their reaction will be similar to #Amazon and such project will be quickly removed too"
After pulling the items, Amazon said “all sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action, including potential removal of their account.”
