Not everyone is laughing at the joke Monty Python actor John Cleese posted on his Twitter page.
Some twitter users say the joke encourages "anti-Irishness and said it shouldn't be encouraged. He went on to say that the Irish are held in high regard all over the world, except in Britain.
Cleese responded to the criticism by posting jokes about Australians.
