Man Arrested After Allegedly Using PPP Loans To Buy Lambo

A Florida man is behind bars after allegedly buying a new sports car with fraudulent government loans.

The Department of Justice announced 29-year-old David Hines has been arrested after allegedly applying for $13.5 million in loans from the Paycheck Protection Program.

The program is meant to help small businesses pay their employees amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Officials say he managed to get his hands on just under $4 million dollars which he spent partially on a brand new Lamborghini.
