18-Year Old Faces Murder Charge In Death Of Woman During Attempted Robbery

A woman is dead and a teen is facing charges after a shooting in Palm Beach Gardens.

Police responded to a call of robbery with gunshots at a Chevron station along Alternate A1A late Friday night.

Officers arrived to find 36-year old Jacqueline Barthelemy, suffering from gunshots. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The suspect, 18-year old Ezequiel Nunez, was identified as the shooter who was attempting to commit a robbery. He was arrested on charges including murder and robbery with a firearm.

Barthelemy leaves behind a husband and two children.
