LINK: Jackson Health Doctors Answer Your COVID Questions

More than 750 pharmacies in Florida - including Walmarts, Publixs and Winn Dixies - are now offering COVID-19 shots, and with access to the vaccine improving, some top medical officials are urging seniors to act now.

Jackson Health System CEO Carlos Migoya warns we may not be over the hump yet; "We're all concerned that we could potentially have another surge down the line, and so a big deal that we need to make sure here is that we vaccinate as many people that are high risk as possible."

Jackson has already vaccinated 73,000 people. Many of them have already received their second and final doses.

During a Zoom town hall this morning, Dr. Hasel Tookes says he can't understand why some aren't coming back for important booster.

"Because it's literally the most important thing you can do for humanity at this time."

With only about 30% of the senior population vaccinated, there's no indication when the shots can become available for the next group of people.

Jackson is holding another Zoom Town Hall this evening at 6:00.
