Add Miami-Dade Public Schools to the list of districts now in violation of Governor DeSantis' student mask mandate ban. The School Board approving mandatory masking for all students, staff and volunteers effective Thursday.
Superintendent Alberto Carvalho says the mask mandate is part of a multi-faceted approach they are taking. He adds that approach will be reviewed and adjusted as necessary on a weekly basis.
The policy mirrors Broward County's policy which is already in effect.
