Miami-Dade Superintendent Heading To Los Angeles?

Miami-Dade Schools' could be losing its top teacher.

Alberto Carvalho is the leading candidate to become the superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District. He has agreed to enter into contract negotiations with the district.

Carvalho says he will miss Miami.

Carvalho has lead Miami-Dade Schools since 2008. In 2018 he agreed, but later backed out of taking the job as New York City Public schools chancellor.
