Fire crews rushed to the scene this morning of a blaze at the popular Swap Shop,a 14-screen drive-in theater and commercial shopping center in Fort Lauderdale. Flames and smoke were seen shooting up into the sky near the area of the shop's drive-in theater Harrison Clark, a store vendor at the Swap Shop, says usually no one is there early, except for security guards. There is no report of any injuries, just extensive damage.
But this not the first time a fire ignites at this location. In fact, there was a similar fire here last year, and a storage unit caught fire in 2020.
