Hong Kong Unhappy With Missing Messi

The Hong Kong government is demanding answers after Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi didn't play in an exhibition match over the weekend.

Inter Miami played a team of top Hong Kong players on Sunday as part of the club's preseason tour ahead of the MLS season.

Videos on social media show fans chanting "Where is Messi?" and "Refund, refund, refund" as it became clear the World Cup winner would not take part in the match.

Inter Miami owner was also booed as he addressed fans after the game.

About 40-thousand fans attended the match, with tickets priced between 122-and-624-dollars selling out with an hour when they went on sale in December.
