(Indian Wells, CA) - Tennis action at Indian Wells was halted due to a "bee invasion."

World #2, Carlos Alcaraz, stopped play and began swatting at bees, looking around with confusion.

Alcaraz admitted, "I'm not going to lie, I'm a little afraid of the bees."

Apparently, the queen bee had taken up residence in the camera above the court.

Even though he was stung on the head, Alcaraz went on to easily beat his opponent.

Meanwhile Novak Djokovic was knocked out by a "lucky loser" in the third round...avoiding a run-in with the bees.
