Cooper City Boil Water Order Is Extended

The city of Cooper City has issued a precautionary boil water notice for its residents and businesses. An electrical issue at the Cooper City water plant is being blamed for the measure, as it has caused a drop in water pressure or loss of water across the area.

The Utilities Department said they are working to resolve the issue.

This boil water notice applies to all Cooper City Utility customers, who are advised to boil tap water for drinking, cooking, washing fruits and vegetables, and making ice cubes. Cooper City water remains safe for bathing, lawn irrigation, and other non-consumptive purposes during this 48-hour period.
